Twice cooked pork is one of the most famous dishes of Sichuan pork recipes. In the past, this dish was usually seen when banqueting guests or during the holidays.
1lb pork belly
2 green onion
4-5 Sichuan peppercorn
1 small bunch garlic sprout, end removed and cut into pieces
1 tsp cooking oil
2 slices ginger
2 garlic cloves, sliced
2 tbsp CHAOTIANXIANG Sichuan Style Spicy Seasoning Sauce
1 tsp TOTOLE Classic Soy Sauce
1 tsp sugar
1. Place the whole piece of pork belly in a large pot with enough cold water to cover. Add 1 green onion, ginger slices and Sichuan peppercorn. Bring to boil and simmer for 30 minutes. Transfer out and set aside to cool down.
2. Slice the pork belly into 1/8-inch thick and hand size pieces.
3.Cut the garlic sprouts into 1.5 inch sections.
4. Heat up oil in a wok (not too much, otherwise the dish might be over greasy), fry the pork belly for around 1-2 minutes until they begin to loose oil and slightly brown.
5. Add CHAOTIANXIANG Sichuan Style Spice Seasoning Sauce, TOTOLE Classic Soy Sauce and sugar, stir fry until fragrance. Add garlic spouts and stir evenly, ready to serve!
